Kusakizome Experiences

Kusakizome is the Japanese tradition of natural dyeing, a practice that honors the colors and plants of each season.

I've been teaching natural dye for a few years now. I teach this activity because I enjoy connecting with people and getting them away from their phones to experience the real joy of creating things with their hands using natural materials that are all around us. Noticing the possibility of natural materials and cultivating awareness of how things are made.
