Did you know that flower petals, fallen leaves, and even kitchen scraps can be transformed into beautiful colors and unexpected patterns—using nothing more than simple kitchen tools?

Join us for a natural dye workshop at my studio at Studio Colibri in Baldwin Hills, Los Angeles, CA, where you’ll be guided through the fundamentals of natural dyeing and leave with the confidence and inspiration to continue exploring color at home.

 

In this workshop, you’ll learn a few different methods of natural dyeing: shibori, itajime, and steam dyeing. You will bring your own natural fiber materials, such as old pillowcases, shirts, or anything else in your closet that wants to come back to life with fresh natural color. We will discuss individually what you can bring and how to prepare beforehand. 

 

Each participant will create and take home their own revived pieces —each revealing its own unique patterns and color stories.

 

This class will be an intimate learning experience. Open for 6 spots.

No prior experience is required, and there is no minimum age.
